duties and responsibilities of the General
Administration of the Financial and Administrative
Affairs:-
1/ General Administration
Section:-
1.
Availing services related to
cleaning, water, electricity, telecommunications, job
security and creation of optimism working conditions.
2.
Organizing of transport means and
their maintenance services.
3.
To look after and avail Office
equipments and their maintenance.
2/ Financial
Section:-
1.
Prepare of budget proposals and
follow up of approval of disbursement.
2.
Control on expenditure of the
approved budget.
3.
To ensure correctness of records
and accounting books.
4.
Preparation of payment orders,
check and follow up their settlement.
5.
Preparation of wages and salaries
, suspense counts, purchases …etc
6.
Preparation of internal audit
records to ensure financial and accounting control.
7.
Preparation of financial account
and submission it to the appropriate authorities.
3/ Training
Section:-
1.
Preparation of annual training
plan both locally and abroad and follow up execute
implementation of the approved plans.
2.
Organization on the job training
programs.
3.
Discussion and approval of the
Ministry's plan with the concerned authorities.
4.
Implementation of approved
programs by means of voting nominations from different
departments.
4/ Personnel
Section:-
1.
Application of requirements and
procedures organizing employment promotion and after
service benefits.
2.
Follow up of organizational
services and compilation of the jobs registry and after
job retains and any changes that happens from time to
time.
3.
The application of archive
systems of personnel records and regulations in this
context.

General Secretariat for
Public Enterprises
The General Secretariat for Public
Enterprises established with the Ministerial decision
dated Nov. 1987 to assist the Minister in supervising
the different Public Enterprises.
Responsibilities:-
- To assist
the Minister in supervising public and joint
investment in accordance with the delegation given to
it.
- Follow up
and execute the Minister's decision and directives
regarding these public investments.
- Inform the
Minister with the necessary information and data that
assist in policies and decision making.
- To
evaluate the performance of public companies regularly
and reflect reference indicators to HE the Minister.
- Proposing
and recommending the necessary solutions and
suggestions to improve production and productivity.

Preparation of studies that aimed at improving
preference and enhancing production for the Minister.

Participation in the negotiations on behalf of the
Minister and inline with his delegation.
- Follow up
of privatization activities.
- Follow up
of performance of the companies.
- record
and coordination of relations between the public
companies and international and regional
organizations.

Al Ginaid Sugar Factory
Established 1959
Installed capacity 60 thousands
tons a year.
Located in Gezira State, Al Butana
Province South East Khartoum about 120 klm. Near Rufaa
town at the Eastern bank of the Blue Nile.
- Halfa Sugar Factory
Located in Kassala, Atbara Nile
State , Eastern Khartoum about 400 klm, 17 klmNorthern
Halfa L Gadida town.
Established 1967.
Experimental operation in season
65/1966
Installed capacity for the factory
in operation 60 thousands tons a year.

Sinnar Sugar Factory
Located in Sinnar State about 40
klm North Estern Sinnar and about 300 klm Southern
Khartoum, Western Wad Al Hadad town.
The establishment process took
place during the period 1971-1976
Installed capacity is 110
thousands tons a year

Asalaya Sugar Factory
Located in the White Nile State.
Algabalain Province about 280 klm Southern Khartoum and
about 5 klm Northern Rabak town
Installed capacity 110 thousands

Established at Hesahesa town ,
Gezira State.

Khartoum Central Foundry
Company-Ltd
Location Khartoum
Established 1971 as a training
Unit for providing competent technical cadre in the
field of Engineering Industries.
Still it performs its task in
training different employees in public and private
companies and establishments.
Change to productive foundry to
benefit from the scrap, silver and ammonia. Finally it
had been related to the Sudanese Sugar Company.
